DESCRIPTION

  • Flexible polyurethane resin similar to methacrylate
  • Its flexibility allows you to create parts that can be bent but not stretched
  • Non-yellowing, good adhesion and resistant to erosion, high temperatures and UV rays
  • They are presented in bottles with safety caps, to prevent improper use

 

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

  • The mixture should have a 1:1 ratio. You will get 2 L of resin to apply
  • Do not add more hardener than the indicated ratio
  • Store at room temperature (maximum 27 ºC). Humidity should be less than 50%
  • If you are going to work with a curing oven, it is necessary that the temperature during the working time is at least 26-27 ºC. If you are going to work with air drying, the temperature must be at least 22 ºC
  • Wear gloves to avoid skin irritation
  • It is advisable to let it dry: in the oven for 4 hours (35-40 ºC) and outdoors for 24 hours (27 ºC)

 

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Use a scale to weigh the amount of each component separately
  • Mix both components for 5 minutes until you have a homogeneous dough
  • Use a blowtorch to break up the bubbles when you let the mixture rest
  • Add pigments or glitter to the mix to customize the resin
  • Clean resin residue with acetone or alcohol while it's wet. Once the resin has cured and dried, it can be broken down by soaking it in acetone or alcohol and soaking it
