<p><strong>INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE THERMAL PEN</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Place the thermal pen on the toolholder right side of the carriage marked with the number 2</li>
<li>The plotter will automatically detect it</li>
<li>Activate the electrostatic bed and place a cutting mat on it</li>
<li>Place the material on the cutting mat and stick it with masking tape</li>
<li>Place a piece of masking tape on the correct area</li>
<li>Make sure to stick the foil well stretched</li>
<li>Place the carriage on top of the material</li>
<li>Place a piece of foil on top (only on transparent, glossy or metallised materials to avoid media sensor errors)</li>
<li>Press the height detection button</li>
<li>Load the design in the program Silhouette Studio® </li>
<li>Go to the panel at special tools and choose the thermal feather</li>
<li>Choose the type of filling you prefer</li>
<li>Go to panel submit and create a new type of material (Foil)</li>
<li>Choose the icon of your choice cutting machine</li>
<li>Click on the tab carriage 2 and from the dropdown on the right choose Foil</li>
<li>From the (+) icon, add the binding action</li>
<li>Modify the parameters you consider and save</li>
<li>Choose Foil in materials from the carriage 2 </li>
<li>Press the thermometer icon to heat up the thermal pen</li>
<li>When ready, press send and the plotter will start working</li>
</ul>
