Add a personal and elegant touch to your garments with loose rhinestones or rhinestone transfer designs.
All the rhinestones we offer are made with a flat side with adhesive, which activates when heat is applied.
To apply loose rhinestones, use an applicator that melts the adhesive at the precise moment, ensuring it adheres to the garment. In this case, you need to know the size of the stones indicated by the diameter, which is important to determine which applicator to use.
If you opt for rhinestone transfer designs, these consist of two sheets: a transparent and adhesive one, known as the carrier, and a white one that acts as a protective paper. In this case, you should use a transfer press to apply them to the garment, ensuring the correct temperature and pressure. We can also create your own rhinestone transfer designs.
Washing instructions
The main concern for rhinestone customers is their resistance to falling off during washing. The first thing to note is that it largely depends on how well the application instructions were followed, as poorly applied rhinestones cannot be well secured.
Although the results are generally satisfactory, it is advisable to follow these simple washing instructions:
Select a gentle wash programme and use a neutral detergent. Wash garments inside out, or place the garment in a washing bag.
Iron the garments using the wool/silk/viscose setting. Use a protective cloth. Be aware that the adhesive softens with ironing.
It is recommended to dry the garment inside out. Use a drying programme at a not too high temperature.
