WASHAFFIX is a vinyl for rigid surfaces such as ceramic, plastic, wood, glass, aluminium and more.
This vinyl can be printed using 2 different methods: directly with a laser printer or using dye sublimation printing. Moreover, there are 2 options to sublimate it: before or after sticking it to the surface of the object you want to personalise, as long as it resists heat
Printable using dry toner (both monochrome and colour), white toner, LED technology or flash fusing
Permanent acrylic adhesive
Suitable for plotter cutting. PVC-free, can also be laser cut
Durable due to no water absorption and high adhesive tack
Dishwasher safe up to 60ºC
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
Avoid using the microwave on personalised glasses, cups or plates with Washaffix
If you want to get higher opacity, we recommend using the matte white. This will prevent the colour of the object on which it is applied from blending with the colours of the design
To show the colour of the object in combination with the design, use the transparent one
When printing by dye sublimation let the ink dry for 48-72 hours
If you use a Silhouette Cameo cutting plotter apply the following parameters: blade 2, force 20 and passes 1
Transparent Washaffix needs less time, temperature and pressure than the matte white vinyl (see sublimation settings)
Use a squeegee to adhere the vinyl and avoid the formation of air bubbles
