For optimal results, it is essential to use both components: the printable paper and the powder polymer
No curing process for the paper and ink is needed before stamping. This saves time and effort, speeding up production
The paper can be printed on both sides
The contents of the polymer powder bag are estimated to be sufficient for working with 50 sheets of A4 size sublimation paper or 25 sheets of A3 size. However, the amount of polymer required will depend on the size of the design to be sublimated, so this estimate may vary accordingly
The application of this system requires the use of an inkjet printer with sublimation inks
Finish similar to a transfer
DIMENSIONS
A3 size sublimation paper sheet: 29.7 x 42 cm
A4 size sublimation paper sheet: 21 x 19.7 cm
Size of the polymer powder bag: 13 x 22.5 cm
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBLIMATED FABRIC
Wash inside out with lukewarm water
Do not use bleach
Iron the printed area inside out
IMPORTANT OBSERVATIONS
Based on our experience, we do not recommend using Sawgrass inks in the application of SubliMagic OneStep
Due to the special characteristics of this system, it is possible that the rollers of some printers may leave marks on the paper
HOW TO APPLY THE SUBLIMAGIC ONESTEP SYSTEM TO SUBLIMATE LIGHT FABRICS?
STEP 1: PRINT
Avoid printing the entire paper edge to edge
Print the image in mirror mode on either side
If the paper is slightly curled, gently bend the paper to reduce this effect
Select the print setting: Normal Paper and High Speed. If lines appear in the design when printing, it is advisable to use manual paper feed and set the print settings to: Thick Paper
Print only one sheet at a time because the ink must be wet to retain the powder polymer. Printing multiple sheets consecutively and stacking them as they come out of the printer could cause the ink to spread and contaminate other sheets
Do not touch the printed side of the paper with your fingers
STEP 2: APPLY THE POWDER POLYMER
Use a tray or plastic container to collect the powder polymer after application. In the Related Products section, you will find a tray suitable for this use
Examine the powder polymer inside the packet, and if you notice any lumps, it is advisable to break them up
Hold the printed paper over the tray and sprinkle the powder over the printed side. Move the paper slightly from side to side to cover the printed design with powder
Gently shake the paper to remove excess powder, ensuring it falls into the tray. You can use it for the next design
When finished, store the leftover powder in the bag and seal it to keep it properly without moisture
STEP 3: IRON THE DESIGN ONTO THE FABRIC
Preheat the iron to 185 ºC
Place the fabric on the lower plate of the iron
Place the paper with the printed side in contact with the fabric. Once you have placed the printed paper, if you need to adjust its position, do not move it from side to side. Lift the paper upwards and place it again where needed
Use a protective paper and iron at 185 ºC for 34 seconds with medium pressure
Remove the fabric from the iron and wait approximately 40 seconds (until it has cooled) before peeling
Peel the paper diagonally while holding the fabric with the other hand
HOW TO COMBINE THE SUBLIMAGIC ONESTEP WITH FOIL AND FLOCK?
WITH FOIL SHEETS ON LIGHT OR DARK COTTON
After finishing the fabric stamping with SubliMagic OneStep:
Place a piece of foil over the design with the coloured side facing up
Iron at 185 ºC for 22 seconds with medium-high pressure
Allow to cool and peel diagonally with a smooth motion
WITH FLOCKED SHEETS FOR LIGHT OR DARK COTTON
After finishing the fabric stamping with SubliMagic OneStep:
Place a piece of flocked sheet over the design with the flock side facing down
Iron at 185 ºC for 50 seconds with medium pressure
Allow to cool and peel diagonally with a smooth motion
