DESCRIPTION

Once applied to the garment, it can be sublimated by following the steps of this technique

Sublicotton is a water-based coating that integrates very well into the fabric. It does not crack and has a soft feel

No screen printing machines are required to apply the base coat

Complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (II), which certifies that it does not contain heavy metals such as lead, mercury or nickel

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

Not suitable for synthetic fibres

The dark cotton base coat is two-component. It must be mixed with the supplied powder agent (Ecocharge NF SumiPrint)

Once ready, it will last for about 6 hours

Apply only a thin layer of Sublicotton to the garment. This will maintain the flexibility and softness of the fabric

You must cure the coating. You can use a curing oven, heat press or flash dryer

It is recommended to run tests before production

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE ON LIGHT COTTON

Step 1: Apply the coating

The fabric must be clean and lint free

Prepare the screen printing screen with the design you want to print

Place the screen on the garment

Add enough coating on the screen to cover the print area

Push down 3 times with the squeegee, scraping off the excess

Dry the counting according to the curing parameters specified in the previous section

Step 2: Sublimation

Print the design in mirror image using sublimation paper

Place the printed paper with the design on top of the coating

Press at 200ºC with medium-high pressure for 40 seconds

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE ON DARK COTTON

Step 1: Apply the coating

The fabric must be clean and lint free

Prepare the screen printing screen with the design you want to print

Prepare the mixture: 5 g of powder agent per 100 g of coating. Only as much as you are going to use

Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes and stir again

Place the screen on the garment

Add enough coating on the screen to cover the print area

Push down 3 times with the squeegee, scraping off the excess

Dry the counting according to the curing parameters specified in the previous section

Step 2: Sublimation

Print the design in mirror image using sublimation paper

Place the printed paper with the design on top of the coating

Press at 200ºC with medium-high pressure for 45 seconds

RECOMMENDATIONS

Keep the coating tub closed and stored below 35ºC, away from direct or indirect heat sources

Once opened, use it as soon as possible

Work in ventilated areas using personal protection elements like gloves, goggles or mask

Do not add any additives other than those supplied by the supplier
