DESCRIPTION

  • Made of high-quality ceramic
  • Black cylindrical body with gloss finish. White inside
  • Thermochromic mugs. They change colour when heated. The black colour gradually disappears when filled with hot liquid, revealing the sublimated image. It becomes black again when it cools down, hiding the image
  • Can be personalised with a heat press and also with a sublimation oven using wraps, silicone sheets or heat shrink bags
  • Pre-engraved designs available: Love, Night and Birthday. The motifs will remain visible on the sublimated image when heat-activated
  • Supplied in a white cardboard box

 

 

 

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

  • Not dishwasher safe
  • Can be personalised like any other sublimation mug; no special treatment or coating is required
  • The sublimated image will be slightly visible on the black surface of the mug, as a negative image

RECOMMENDED INSTRUCTIONS AND PARAMETERS FOR SUBLIMATION PRINTING

Parameters are given as a guide only. They may vary due to many factors such as the paper used, inks or ambient temperature. Therefore, testing is recommended.

WITH A MUG HEAT PRESS

  • Print the design in mirror image. Keep in mind that the pre-printed design will be visible together with the image. Does not disappear when the mug is heated
  • Preheat the press to 180ºC
  • Hold the paper's printed side against the mug and fix it with heat-resistant tape
  • Press for 200 seconds, medium-heavy pressure
  • Remove the newly printed mug using a protective glove
  • Carefully peel off the paper

WITH A SUBLIMATION OVEN

  • Print the design in mirror image. Keep in mind that the pre-printed design will be visible together with the image. Does not disappear when the mug is heated
  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC
  • Hold the paper's printed side against the mug and fix it with heat-resistant tape
  • Tighten the wrap or slide the mug into a shrink bag and heat it with a heat gun. Make sure you get rid of all the wrinkles. You can also use a silicone sheet
  • Sublimate in the oven for 13-15 minutes
  • Using a protective glove, remove the wrap, the silicone sheet, or the bag, depending on the accessory you used
  • Carefully peel off the paper from the mug
